This is a great knitting bag for all sizes of projects as it just holds so much. The bag is closed with a drawstring and has a canvas side handle if you wish to carry it.

The bag is a gorgeous purple and sage checked Harris Tweed and has a co-ordinating batik cotton lining.

The bag measures 31 x 38cm and the base is 24 x 14cms

The beautiful toning fingering is from Cookston Crafts and is 75% SW Merions 25% nylon (425m x 100gm).

Harris Tweed is a very unique textile, which I just love working with. Woven by the islanders in their homes in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, finished in the islands of Harris, Lewis, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist and Barra (The Outer Hebrides) and made from pure virgin wool, dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.
Harris Tweed production is protected by The Harris Tweed Act of Parliament 1993, which strictly outlines the conditions in which the cloth can genuinely be made.

As my bags are made one at a time they will all differ slightly from each other, whether it is the fabric, placement of pockets etc, so your Harris Tweed bag will be truly unique.
