This is a great knitting bag for all sizes of projects as it just holds so much. The bag is closed with a drawstring and has a toning canvas side handle if you wish to carry it.

The bag is a black, grey and  white herringbone Harris Tweed and has a bright contrasting batik cotton lining.

The bag measures 36 x 38cm and the base is 26 x 14cms

The sparkly toning 100gm fingering by the talented Cookston Crafts is 75% SW Merino/20% Nylon/5% Silver stellina.

Harris Tweed is a very unique textile, which I just love working with. Woven by the islanders in their homes in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, finished in the islands of Harris, Lewis, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist and Barra (The Outer Hebrides) and made from pure virgin wool, dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.
Harris Tweed production is protected by The Harris Tweed Act of Parliament 1993, which strictly outlines the conditions in which the cloth can genuinely be made.

As my bags are made one at a time they will all differ slightly from each other, whether it is the fabric, placement of pockets etc, so your Harris Tweed bag will be truly unique.
