A stunning patchwork Harris Tweed project bag in shades of orange, blue, purple and yellow. The lining is a batik cotton that reflects the colours in the tweed.
As always the little details are very important so the YKK zip and topstitching tone with the Harris Tweed. The handle, which can be removed from the project bag is made of heavyweight cotton webbing and silver coloured rivets.
A fabulous knitting bag, knitting project bag or sock project bag :)
The bag closes with a YKK zip and measures 15 x 10.5 x 4 inches or 38 x 26 x 10cms.
Harris Tweed is a very unique textile, which I just love working with. Woven by the islanders in their homes in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, finished in the islands of Harris, Lewis, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist and Barra (The Outer Hebrides) and made from pure virgin wool, dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.
Harris Tweed production is protected by The Harris Tweed Act of Parliament 1993, which strictly outlines the conditions in which the cloth can genuinely be made.
As my bags are made one at a time they will all differ slightly from each other, whether it is the fabric, placement of pockets etc, so your Harris Tweed bag will be truly unique.
Any knitting, needles or wool in the photos is not included in the sale.
